TxtImg is a program can help you make text images, or 'ASCII art'. TxtImg correlates font character bitmaps with image data, and can sometimes produce text image surprisingly high fidelity. TxtImg is a MS Windows program targeted for modern computers with high color displays and rather fast processors - doesn't make a lot of sense since the output is just a text image. But so this goes.
