It's a good program very portable and light to create custom bitmap cute fonts, so anyone who wants it can draw its own set of characters. It easy to use, maybe too much, but if nothing else is suitable for novice users. Eventually the font that we designed (or adjusted), can be exported in bitmap format (.fon, .fnt, .bdf, etc..), Or installed on your system (in this case, some have reported problems with Windows Vista) .Unfortunately Fony is unable to save the fonts in vector / TrueType (which would be very useful).
If you look for something much more complex and professional to draw the characters, I suggest instead FontForge (open source and cross platform), but not too easy to install on Windows.
