PhotoME, management Exif, IPTC and ICC editor

It's a program that helps manage EXIF data from digital cameras. At the time I know of no other program (especially if free of charge) that is able to approach him.
You can see the data of pictures taken, such as date and time, focal length, aperture, exposure time, etc.. But also less known data, if supported by the digital camera, such as the ambient temperature at the time of the shooting and the location (GPS useful for programs like GeoSetter, reported below).
The data that we can see depends on what the machine supports, for example, we will not see your GPS position if our camera does not have a GPS receiver (integrated), and so on.
If you have already changed the picture with programs such as GIMP, Adobe PhotoShop, PaintShop, etc.., It is possible that some of the EXIF data is deleted, so it would be better to work with the images do not change the digital camera itself (usually RAW, even though with certain cameras is recommended to open JPEG files instead of RAW because there are writings EXIF data).
Overall PhotoME consider the best program to read and manage EXIF data in depth (and usually the meta data of an image).
