For years we had a free program that converts between video formats at this time, however, the number of free programs that can perform this conversion is significant, as shown by the category of video conversion programs on the Super, Koyotesoft Video Converter, FormatFactory, MediaCoder, Xvid4PSP, etc.., (again without mentioning the specific programs to convert divx to DVD and DVD to Divx).Free Video Converter thus seeks to add something new than the competition: not only does the conversion between formats (the operation to select an output video format that has not already been preset is still a bit driver), but adds the possibility to make small edits between different video clips (which we can then save to the desired format) a bit as Windows Movie Maker but with more chance on the final conversion (for example, is possible to export the video in a format directly compatible with iPod, iPhone and some other default profile).
