Come among the last in order of time, Xvid4PSP immediately became one of the best free programs to convert various video formats, including formats for portable players. Indeed it can convert videos directly to PSP, iPod, iPhone, Xbox and other platforms (from PCs, of course).Formats that are accepted into several, from the classic DVD RAM, DivX/Xvid, MKV, OGM, MOV, QT, and many others.
The results are among the best for a program of this kind (generic and not specific multiformat conversion for converting between two formats). The GUI is very nice.
With Windows Vista you may need to start it as Administrator.
