IZArc

IZArc is a free high quality, which can entirely replace Winzip. Manages several archive formats, including 7-ZIP, A, ACE, ARC, ARJ, B64, BH, BIN, BZ2, BZA, C2D, CAB, CDI, CPIO, DEB, ENC, GCA, GZ, GZA, HA, IMG, ISO, JAR, LHA, LIB, LZH, MDF, MBF, MIM, NRG, PAK, PDI, PK3, RAR, RPM, TAR, TAZ, TBZ, TGZ, TZ, UUE, WAR, XXe, YZ1, Z ZIP, ZOO. If you have a plan filed with some strange extension, the chances IZArc will be able to open it and unpack it. Even can open ISO files, BIN, NRG ... CD images created by the major burning programs (it can also convert from one format to another).

You can also create archives compacted (in addition of course to decompress, which is the specialty of IZArc), in some formats, including zip and 7z, but not RAR (rar format is not free, and if you want to create archives rar you need Winrar). The archives can be created by simply dragging the files that interest us in its working window (drag and drop), and optionally, can be protected with strong 256-bit encryption algorithm (AES Rijandael). Where possible IZArc can repair damaged archives.
