Spyware Blaster

It'a particular anti-spyware, which does not deal to scan and remove spyware on your computer, but tries to prevent that it can enter, closing some of the most popular Web browser functionality (and more targeted malware and spyware) Internet Explorer.

To do this, some features are disabled in Internet Explorer (from ActiveX controls) is inhibited access to a large number of sites considered hazardous, and is deleted several cookies on your computer (cookies are text that Our browser is exchanged with the server you are accessing, usually to keep track of our preferences, for example when we shop at an online store allows us to fill the cart, etc.)..

The drawback is simple: some sites (not just 'bad', but also sites 'good' that require special functionality to Explorer) will no longer be accessible. The user-especially if inexperienced-will seek to enter or browse them, but we do not succeed, being disabled components that maybe the site requires.

Overall, Spyware Blaster can be considered a protection more useful for those who want additional protection, although I'm not a big supporter of this type of protection, for the reasons listed above.

Among the positive notes, the fact that Spyware Blaster is entirely free.
