FileGateway is a small program that lets you share files in a folder or folders with friends and colleagues.The software consists of a server and a client: the server must be run on the computer containing the files to make cash out remotely. It simply specify the folder "share" then set a password.
At this point you just run the client on the remote machine to get the files offered for sharing the "server" you can download/upload files by simply selecting them.
FileGateway uses the HTTP protocol so it works correctly even in the presence of proxy servers, routers and firewalls.
The program requires no installation, supports file permissions of Windows NT/2000/XP and can be configured as a system service.
