IE-SpyAd

IE-SpyAd is a package containing a long list of Internet sites that may be dangerous to the user. The purpose of IE-SpyAd is simple: to prevent Internet sites show little respect the privacy of surfers can keep track of your visits or try to install ActiveX components that can reveal information about your identity or the contents of your computer.

IE-SpyAd is also a great excuse to block the installation of certain automatic dialers (the software that create a connessiomne remote access and connect through analog modems, to expensive phone numbers for a fee).

To use IE-SpyAd open the zipped file and then double click the file ads.reg: in this way the list of Internet sites that may pose a threat to you, will be added between the Restricted sites zone of Internet Explorer (start the browser, click on the Tools menu, Internet Options, Security tab, Restricted Sites then click Sites ..: so you can view a list of sites that have been configured as "bad").
Should you wish to then delete the Internet sites included in the "restricted sites", just double-click the file ads-uninst.reg.
IE-SpyAd can only be used by users of Internet Explorer (from version 4.0 to version 6.0 included).
