Cobian Backup is a great free program for automatic backups, the rescue of entire folders on your computer to a destination to be determined (which may be another hard disk, a CD or DVD, FTP server, USB stick, etc..).We choose the folders that will be part of our rescue, we set intervals (every Monday or every hour or every month, or once only, etc..) Choose to have it all in a single compressed file to our e- choice-encrypted with a password, we set the destination and the rest will be left to the program.
Setup is fairly simple, although at first need to waste a few minutes. Perhaps a paid program like Handy Backup is more intuitive, however Cobian Backup is free and does the exact same things.
Back up certain important folders automatically and periodically (where there are no data to update frequently, or all our emails, etc..). Is a very useful practice, especially for those who have valuable data on PC, which event of major hard drive crash would be lost (or recovered only at very high cost). Advanced users are familiar with the usefulness of these backup programs, because we have passed in first person ... others rely on luck, hoping that everything always goes well ...
