AlZip, file archiving and file compression (shareware)

Program like IZArc, but with two strengths: it is lightweight and has a graphical interface between the best, probably the best among programs of this section (so that it is hard to believe it's free). Can decompress 36 archive formats (practically all the known), can compress files into 8 formats (ALZ, BH, CAB, TGZ, JAR, LZH, TAR and ZIP), and fast extraction. ALZ format allows you to create archives of unlimited size.
Among the many interesting features definition, you can also sort the files stored according to many criteria (name, date, comments, algorithms, etc..) Useful in the case of archives containing many files.
ALZip also has a function to retrieve forgotten passwords.
Unfortunately, after a period in which it was free ALZip became a charge (and thus must compete directly with WinRar, which remains my favorite database archiving program).

Autopatcher, Windows Update With One lickC

It's a program very similar to Offline Update (below) to download in one go all available updates (patch security update several) of any version of Windows (Vista, XP, but Office, DirectX, etc. ..) After the update is downloaded, you can choose what to install and what not (for example, is only possible to update only considered 'critical' by Microsoft, and so on).
Needless to say, you need some patience to download the updates, since it can take several hours (depending on the speed of our connection). As with Offline Update, is very useful if you have multiple computers, because it avoids passing whole days to download updates.
Very good program, although my preference when it, albeit in a very light, with Offline Update.
