Calculating performance bond investment (Excel)

Calculate the actual yield (by using the advanced feature of Excel TIR.X) investment in bonds and other fixed income securities. In practice it is an Excel spreadsheet simple but effective, developing the financial plan investment hypothesis based on data entered by the user input (prices and dates of purchase/sales rate, etc.).

The model calculates the net effective yield to maturity (also known as Internal Rate of Return or IRR).

The basic processing is the c.d. "Plan of financial flows" from investment under assessment.

The plan of the cash flows of a typical bond investment consists of the following movements:
- Output currency linked to the acquisition debt (including expenses)
- Output connected to the monetary payment of accrued interest during the time of purchase
- Number of cash receipts relating to the collection of coupons net during the "continuation" of the obligation

26 K Recipes

The filing of this application and the original data are "freeware". Its use must be for personal use only, with the prohibition of any profit.

The solution has 26,000 recipes with all the information necessary for their implementation (there are also 112 recipes to make with the "Thermomix") and more than 720 foods with nutritional data, and over 41,000 items with their calorie ingredients based on the amount raised.

The ingredients are actually only about 1,300. The various overlaps (which differ only in the amount given), are very useful when creating a new recipe.

A notable feature is to select the ingredients (for example, that we have available) and automatically appear refocus in which they are present.

A simple, powerful search system, allows to extract one or more recipes, based on criteria derived from the ingredients available to us.

Intuitive and completeness will allow art lovers to indulge themselves in the creation of culinary dishes from among the most representative of all Italian regions and even foreign quanlcuna.

Can print the recipe selected for it to reach the eye while it is realized.

Unlike other programs, you can enter new recipes or customize existing ones.

The application has a comprehensive online help.

The opportunity to call "hand" to the program I designed in the "back in 2002", were, first, adding to the original database created and maintained by the good George Musilli (http://dbricette.it) of about 600 recipes. Secondly, a number of reasons, including the first request by a user who wishes to have a separate access, (as the mother, often accidentally deleted some important recipes) and the advent of two other new releases Filemaker.

Last aggiornamneto the program I did with Filemaker .8 ADV. Since January 2009, was released Filemaker 10 ADV ADV through version 9.0.

This latest version of FileMaker, allowed me to add new features and optimizing existing ones.

Among all, the most important ones are:

* Graphical Layout (hopefully improved). In particular, now the layout size fits all screen resolutions.
* Better readability of data relating to the preparation of the recipe.
* How to create a new recipe, starting from the archive of the ingredients.
* Among the features of the recipe, now is also the amount of calories, resulting from the sum of the calories of each ingredient that composes it.

* Ability to enter up to 6 images of the recipe.

With "real" simplicity, (based on the type of input data that is based on the software used in roadside restaurants and major distribution centers which include the use of screens "touch-screen"), you can manage, in a "Fast-Food" and/or activity devoted to catering operations to product development, receiving and printing orders, invoices and receipts with access to detailed statistical reports sorted by day or month, creating and printing of the daily menu.

This solution has proved very useful in widespread use in country fairs in which the simplicity of procedures is essential for the rapid management of receiving and managing orders.

One important change compared to previous releases, the management of "stocks of food".

To avoid misunderstandings and disputes, the operator has an immediate view of the quantity of products in stock that is about to enter the order and the case reached the minimum amount (customizable), may intervene (with the help of the administrator) to restore sufficient quantities or to omit the product exhausted from the daily menu.

There are numerous options for printing of documents and other reports with detailed statistics on products sold, as well as to develop an account of sales of the day.

If you are not using the correct resolution, there is no malfunction, except the decentralization of the image of testing on screen, instead of the color no problem.
