Some programs are light, like DeepBurner, other heavier as StarBurn, some of the highest quality, but at present the most developed (better than many counterparts in charge), as Feurio.

PowerLaserExpress arises in the lighter category. This is absolutely unbeatable, since it occupies just over 500kb and requires no installation. Moreover, the GUI (in English) is among the most simple and immediate.

PowerLaserExpress can create CDs and DVDs and create and burn ISO images.
Unfortunately does not support the verification of written data.

NOTE: With some configurations work perfectly. With others (like mine), unfortunately only works partially (work deleting and writing of ISO, but not adding files and folders, in which case it crashes and needs to close the Task Manager).

The format/MKV video container, which in recent times is becoming increasingly common, has several advantages over AVI format, but sometimes it can be done with it for simple tasks, since not many programs are able to support it (especially if the audio is in AAC format and video X264).

It's a great program that allows you to make profound changes in DVDs, going to act on the IFO file. It the first great free program in the industry, and today its power is enormous. If you learn to master, you can do almost anything.

The limit is another: Ifo Edit is quite difficult to understand, and even more difficult to use. It is not a program that does all those he (unlike DVD Remake or VideoReDo, for example) but need to know who controls what he does (and this affects a bit on my evaluation).
