Returnil Virtual System Personal

Returnil Virtual System free also works with a principle more or less similar to the sandbox: create a virtual copy of the operating system the computer's RAM, to run in it any change, all without any user intervention (among other things, until Returnil is active, the computer becomes very fast, thanks to the fact that the system is copied into RAM).

In other words we can install any program (that does not require restarting the computer) with VS Returnil active, test, experiment or us everything we want, and will restart as before installing.

The free version does not save anything on C: partition while Returnil is active (you can save instead on other partitions or external devices), if we are to save the C: partition we have to buy the paid version (creates virtual drive hard disk, which is always active, and on which we can write the data).

While we focus, we can make any changes to the system we want (install programs, tests, etc..), When instead we want to eliminate these changes, we restart the computer (not just Returnil).

Screen Grab Pro, Freeware capture tool

It has many interesting features, rarely available in the free competitors, including automatic image capture time, and the ability to copy directly into the system clipboard, so you can make a quick copy / paste in our favorite image editor. It can capture full screen or user-defined regions (or windows selectable from a list). Very easy to use (because options are not many).

Vmlite XP Mode, Virtualization

And free after registration (no charge) via email.
Vmlite Mode XP is a program that serves the same purpose Microsoft Windows XP mode, but which has a faster emulation. Once he had the advantage of not requiring the presence of hardware emulation processor, but since Microsoft has also removed this requirement for their program, the advantage is Vmlite own speed.
If your processor capacity then virtualization (VT-x or AMD-V), even better, because everything will run even faster.
The image of Windows XP it is done downloading, within VmLite directly from the Microsoft website (image also in Italian, over 400MB) and everything works smoothly.
In theory Vmlite should be able to run XP also images created with competing programs, such as VMware or Parallels, or others, in reality, however, at least I am not able to get an image created with VMware (can some improvement in the future will be done from this point of view).
The purpose of Vmlite XP is likely to be launched (free) for paid product that should be followed (especially interesting one to create an image of Windows XP partition that is used every day, and then use Windows virtualized under 7); now these additional products were not seen, however Vmlite XP Mode continues to perform strongly.
I consider Microsoft's fastest competitor, although it is possible that for prolonged use it may prove a bit 'more reliable (a lot of evidence in this regard should be made to give an opinion of course).
